Update: 2012/10/21
Oct. 21st, 2012 06:20 pmSo, this is my first update on my list! I wasn't expecting to have too much to update in the first two weeks, and I definitely wasn't really expecting to have been able to mark anything as complete, but I did! :D
So, right now my list stands at:
On the list: 50/101
Completed: 2/101
In Progress: 7/101
And here are the updates~
Newly added:
48. Start recycling properly. Japan is huge on recycling but I kind of got lazy with it because my apartment management doesn't seem particularly strict with it. But I understand why it's a good thing to do, and it really shouldn't be too much effort, so I want to try.
49. Learn to read braille. I'm hoping this isn't something I will ever need to use myself, but it's something I'm interested in learning especially because if I do go back to England my career choice would be to do some kind of work with blind people. I think it'd be interesting to know how to read it.
50. Write and send a letter to Ryo Katsuji. Back in 2010, I met Ryo in London after seeing him performing in Musashi, and even though it was probably the end of a long day, even though he was on his way out and probably back to his hotel to sleep, even though there was a huge language barrier, he was so willing to stop and speak to me and sign my pamphlet, and I really respect him for that. I really want to write to him and tell him that.
